  13. The patch files are for use by REGISTERED owners of Ami-Back ONLY.  This
  14. patch will bring Ami-Back from v2.0h to v2.0i.  These patches will ONLY
  15. work on the English version of Ami-Back.
  16.  
  17. To use it do the following:
  18.  
  19.     1.  Extract the files in this archive (if you are reading this
  20.         you have already done this).
  21.         
  22.     2.  Make a copy of your original Ami-Back disk.  DO NOT perform
  23.         this patch on your original disk.
  24.         
  25.     3.  Place the Ami-Back disk (copy) in any floppy drive.
  26.     
  27.     4.  Make sure your current directory is the directory that
  28.             contains the extracted files.
  29.     
  30.     5.  The script to patch Ami-Back is called "Patch_AmiBack" and
  31.         the script to patch Ami-Back Plus Tools is called 
  32.         "Patch_AB+Tools".  Double click on the appropriate icon or 
  33.         execute the script by typing "Execute <script name>".
  34.     
  35.     6.  After completing the patches you MUST install using the normal
  36.         install procedure (see the you Users Manual.)

  41. Changes Made:
  42.     
  43.     o Recompiled with SAS/C 6.50
  44.     
  45.     o Entering an empty directory in the file selection screen, then
  46.       hitting the parent gadget could result in enforcer hits or a 
  47.       crash.
  48.       
  49.     o Long (>10 chars) AmigaDOS device names (not partiton names) would
  50.       cause the backup/restore configuration screen to lock up.
  51.       
  52.     o The restore name filter was not working on directories, only files.
  53.       It now works on directories.
  54.       
  55.     o TapeWorm-FS is automatically inhibited before Ami-Back starts to
  56.       access the tape drive.
  57.       
  58.     o The recovery backup has been improved.  It is now able to recover 
  59.       files off OFS disks, and will recover files from partitons that
  60.       have moved.
  61.     
  62.     o Ami-Back no longer uses the SCSIF_AUTOSENSE flag in SCSI direct 
  63.       commands.  We did this becuase some older controllers and some
  64.       new controllers don't implement this correctly.
  65.       
  66.     o Editing restore filter entries was not working correctly.
  67.
